Q.

Baby coughing

I have an 18month old son, who has just been on a course of antibiotics for ear-infection but he also had a cold at the time( running nose and coughing). The ear has cleared & nose have cleared up, but the coughing has not stopped. The cough is not a chesty cough although there does seem to be some phlegm which he is unable to bring up on his own. I dont want any more antibiotics and I dont know what cough syrup if any, I can give him?

Please help

It is not possible to tell you about cough-mixtures without knowing what is causing your child's cough. It is best to consult your doctor about this or your paediatrician.
