Q.

Baby constantly hungry

I have 9 week old twins. Both have been on S26 Gold since 4 weeks old and everything has been fine. My son has recently been putting on weight rather rapidly though (450g per week) and was 4.8kg at his 8 week checkup. I have been feeding him 150ml x 5 feeds. He is now wanting 175ml or more, and cries to be fed every 2-3 hours, and I have found no other cause for this crying. This has now been going on for a week. Is there a formula out there that will satisfy him more?

There is an excellent new formula for hungry babies called Novalac SD.

I would suggest that at his age you could try to feed him at least six meals a day... maybe that would help as well.... I also know that the Nan Lactogen is used for hungrier babies... but I must admit that I use it and my baby (5 months) still wants her feeds every three and half hours....
