Q.

Baby born weighing 0,37 kg

Hi I was wondering what are the chances of a baby born weighing 0,37kg surviving in an incubator. The reason why I ask is becasue my baby was born when I was 20 weeks pregnant and I was told that the child was too small to be able to survive on his own and I just want to find out if this is true. i would like to know if there was the slightest chance that the child would have survived and if so would there have been any complications with the child

I am sorry to read here that you lost your baby and hope that you have received counselling and the necessary support.A baby weighing only 370grams at 20 weeks gestation has no chance of survival even with the best of modern neonatal intensive care.
