at what age?

Afternoon Doc

At what age is it about time to wean baby off the bottle. My LO easts her solids, and loves them. She has a big bowl of supper at night and then a bottle. But, lately, I have taken the night bottle away and replaced it with water, or tea some nights. She doesn't seem to have a problem with it. She has always been a good sleeper and slept through the night since 4mnths old. After taking the night bottle away, nothing has changed - still sleeps right through.

She is 15mnths old. Her bottle intake are: Two bottles of 200ml Infacare 3 in the morning, and another 2 - 3 during the day (with snacks and samies in between).

She should be gradully be weaned off only milk as her fluid intake now. You seem to be doing the right things. She may want to continue to use her bottle for some months still, but she will let you know when she is ready to give it up. Later on offer her fluids in a sippy cup.
