asthma or not

hi my 2yr old has just had adna allergy blood test !!! what would they be mainly looking for apart from allergys???????? also he is haveing a sweat test on monday, and he has been put on montelukast 4 ml granules as well as his inhalers. also my sons respitory doc told me he had a negative ana blood test so why do you think my sons reumotoligist said he had primary raynaurds?????? please help us its as though the docs are just passing the buk ????????

They are certainly looking for an allergic cause for your son's illness, hence the RAST tests. A sweat test is done to exclude cystic fibrosis. As I said before I have not heard of an infant with Raynauds disease, so I have no idea why your doctor made this diagnosis.
