Q.

asthma

my son has just turned 11 - last year he had an asthma attack during a rugby game. the dr said he had asthma related to sports
he did a lung function test, was prescribed inflammide and did another lung function test after a short period which showed improvment. after 3 mths i stopped giving him the pumps and he has been very well. i have noticed lately he tires easily and seems to be taking big breaths every so often. he is not tight chested but does breathe heavily when sleeping. do you think this is asthma, should he go back on the inflammide.
otherwise he is generally healthy.

He does seem to be getting asthma and should re-start the Inflammide. This is a long term treatment that is very safe so don't be in a hurry to take him off this treatment.
