Babies often do this after the very rapid growth of the first year. His appetite will return with time, dont force things and dont make mealtimes unpleasant. No appetite stimulants really work.

I read somewhere once that a toddler won't starve themselves & will eat when they're hungry.

What does your son weigh?
Has he been ill at any stage?

my girl is 5 yrs and weights 13kg's and is also very short, pead say's she's fine and if she is healthy, eating at breakf, lunch, dinn she is ok- we sometimes sit with a woodenspoon and given slap's when she does not... you get meal replacements with all the right goodies in they need- with popeye on the tin...cant recall the name, that worked as well. all of the best
