Another point to previous post

Doc, also just wanted to add that my son has two older brother with no problems in terms of wetting the bed. And the only problem my 3y old has is a persistant blocked nose - he does snore a lot. I realise that his adenoids may be a problem, but I am reluctant to go to the ent as it will mean medication and he does not take them. I do use Betnasol 1 drop in each nostril at night for him. Not sure if this has any bearing at all.

Children of this age should not snore. It is as simple as that.Snoring in a child of this age means that his nose is very blocked. Betnesol drops is a very powerful cortisone which is absorbed from the nose into your son's circulation. Please do not use this treatment. Discuss your son's blocked nose with your paediatrician when you see her again for his urinary tract infection and investigations.
