Am I overfeeding my 6 1/2 month-old baby

Hi there,

Thanks in advance for your help!

My baby was diagnosed with reflux from an early age &  has been on Losec (although I' m giving him the generic Altosec). I' ve also changed his formula to Novalac AR. It has improved somewhat but he still vomits a bit more than I think is normal, so I' m a little concerned about how much milk and food he receives. Below is his menu - is this too much for a child his age? He is a big boy &  weighs 9.2 kg!

4 bottles of Novalac AR - 210 ml at 6 am, 10 am, 2 pm &  after his bath at +- 6:30 pm. The tin of Novolac AR states that they should have 3 bottles - is 4 too much?

On top of his milk, he also has solid food:
3 meals a day:
Breakfast (8am): +- 6 teaspoons of rice/maize cereal + 1 large silicion ice-cube size block of home-made fruit puree

Lunch (anywhere between 12 - 1 pm): 2 large silicone ice-cube size blocks of veggies or fruits (depending on the new food I' m testing out)

Dinner (anywhere between 4-5pm): 2 large silicone ice-cube size blocks of veggies (ones that have been tested and are fine - usually butternut, sweet potato, carrots, pumpkin, potato).

Am I overfeeding? The silicone ice-cube trays I use to freeze my baby food are quite a bit larger than standard plastic ice-cube trays.

Thanks again,

Your son is a big boy and will eat more than the average baby of his age. He is not being overfed.
