Am i over feeding my baby

My son is 8 weeks old and everytime he eats the food comes back up., this result in him wanting to eat too often. He is being exclusively breastfed. He had a cold last week and some of the food he brings back has phlem in it. And most of the staff coming back is not white (it has a yellowish tone). Another thing is, sometimes while feeding he will do number two. Which makes me think he might be overeating. His poo is very runny and looks goldish browm or yellow sometimes. He currently weighs 5.2kg(he was 3.5kg at birth)
Please advice
Thank you

Yes it is certainly possible that your baby is a rather greedy feeder as his stools suggest this is possible and his bringing up after every feed. The problem is that his weight is just below the average for his age now and he was above average weight at birth so this does not support that he is overfeeding. His vomiting may be due to reflux and may be quite severe if he vomits so often. It would be best to take your baby to be seen by his paediatrician so that this problem can be sorted out.

If he has a cold, have you taken him to a doc yet? Is he on any medication? Has this been going on for a long time or only since he got sick?
I''m no expert but my baby usually poops while eating and there''s nothing wrong with her at all. She has always done it at she is 4 and a half months old already.
He sounds like he has gained a good amount of weight since birth. My little one gained about 700g more than your boy by the 2 month mark and I was not overfeeding her.
Baby''s poop should be soft but not too watery. It can be anything from a mustard yellow to a greenish colour.
Have you been monitoring his temperature?
Depending on your answers to some of my questions, your baby may have some kind of allergy or perhaps it''s his cold that''s getting the better of him.
I would recommend taking him to a doc ASAP. You can''t let the little one dehydrate. Better safe than sorry!
