This is probably the Euphorbia cactus which has a very irritating milky sap. Contact with this sap may result in very painful redness and blistering of the skin where the sap came in contact with the skin.Be very caredful that no sap gets into your daughter's eyes and mouth as this may cause a very bad reaction. Wash off the sap very carefully using cold water. Apply a cold or ice pack to her skin where the rash is present. Apply Anthisan or Phenergan cream cream twice daily until the rash goes away. The rash may leave white spots on her skin afterwards which may take a long time to disappear.
