Q.

Allergic Reaction or Food Poisoning

Last night my 2 year old son woke from his sleep crying. He seemed to have a stomach ache, he then had a cold sweat and was tossing and turning. I then gave him Buscopan and Painagon. Eventually he vomited and about 10 min. later he fell asleep. He has had no complaints today.

Do these ssymptoms look like food poisoning or should I take him to a Doctor.

If the fever or the symptoms persist an evaluation is indicated. In its absence it may have been due to a viral stomach upset or a reactionon (eg. food poisoning) against something he has eaten.
