This is always a very stressful problem for parents. His aggressive behaviour is very typical of children having anger episodes. When he starts to perform tell him in a firm clear voice to stop.Say 'Stop that immediately!' Never hit him as this will only increase and aggravate his aggressive behaviour. If he does not stop immediately leave the room after making sure that he cannot hurt himself. Only re-enter the room once he stops performing.Eventually he will get the message and stop this behaviour.

Hi just to let you know that you really are not alone !! My son now almost 4yrs old was exactly the same.
It was a complete nightmare I was scared to take him out as he was so violent to other children, He would run and butt walls, bite himself , It got so bad that we even took him out of nursrey and I had time off work as he bitten a child so bad, it was heartbreaking !!! We really thought there was an underlying problem with him. We started praising him for every good thing he did, stopped shouting at him but talking and explaining things to him, When we took him out we watched him 100% and didnt give him a chance to harm another child. It was hard work but now my monster is an angel ! ! ! Dont get me wrong he does have little moments but they are controllable moments, and if thats not enough for us, his little sister is a little monster too and we think we have to do it all overagain !! Good luck and stay strong.
