Give her time and don't panic about this. This is an extremely common problem which will come right. After all there are no children in Grade 1 at school who still have'nt got the hang of using a toilet. In the meantime be very patient with her and reward her if she gets things right. Never scold her and especially do not get cross with her. If she still needs to wear trainer pants for a while it is not the end of the world.

Hi

This is a common potty-training stumbling block. My son was exactly the same. I think I pushed him into potty training too soon. My daughter will be 4 at the end of the month and I didn't pressurise her into potty training at all. The potty was always around but I left her until she was ready, which happened to be at 3 years 5 months!! (I was also secretly anxious). But I think not forcing her helped because within 1 week she was fully potty trained - at night as well. I just make sure that I put her on the potty just before I go to bed at about 11pm. Each child is different, so just relax and let her advance to pooing in the toilet in her own time - she'll get there don't worry.
