White sores in throat

Good day my daughter has been complaining about a sore throat since yesterday and we treated it with OTC meds. This morning I looked and saw white sore in her throat. Do we need to visit the doctor or can we treat at home?

The most likely cause of the white sores that you can see in your daughter's throat is tonsillitis. Tonsillitis is usually caused by a bacterial infection of the tonsils.  She will need an antibiotic to treat tonsillitis, if this is indeed the reason why she has this appearance in her throat. Please take her to be seen by a doctor.
