Q.

My son has a rash with pus, where ever the pus goes a new spot appears.

My 3 year old has a rash, under his lip and torso with produce pus, where ever the pus goes a new spot appears; the rash started with a flu, which was treated and he responded well. He had strep throat in the past which led to three week hospitalization with heart problems. Other than the rash his temperature is normal, and he goes about playing. Should l be worried? Granted, i monitor him every 6 hours

It sounds as if your son has a skin infection known as impetigo. This is caused by a bacterial infection due to strep, the same bacteria that cause tonsillitis. He must be treated with antibiotics taken by mouth and with an antibiotic ointment. Please take him to the doctor immediately if you haven't already done so.
