Menactra meningococcal  vaccination is given to babies at 9 months and the second vaccination is given at 12 to 15 months. In South Africa this vaccination is not given by the State clinics and is presently only available in private clinics. You can ask your GP to give you a prescription for the Menactra vaccination.
