Cradle cap in 2 year old

Good day. My 2 year old has brown flaky skin on his head. I noticed it 1st a few months ago and have now noticed a 2nd patch. From everything I found it looks like cradle cap. It does not seem to bother him much though. I am currently p 5 months pregnant with my 2nd one and again have HG with this pregnancy. I've been waiting for my son to turn 2 (he did in April) and am trying to now get him to stop breastfeeding, but it is a struggle. I've noticed he often coughs after breastfeeding now and now with the cradle cap I am worried it might be my high hormones causing both problems. Is this possible and should I force him off the breaat for his own health?
