Hi Doctor,I had been giving my son ronalac premature but he developed red rashes all over his body. Since then we have been using Nan HA and Cerelac rice(6 months). But we discovered that Cerelac contains cow's milk. Will this cause allergy again ? Kind regards

Your question dated 4 July only appeared on the Paediatrician's questions today. It is highly likely that your baby is allergic to cow's milk. You are correct all the Cerelac cereals contain cow' milk. Your baby can have another brand of rice cereal that does not contain cow's milk.. He should stay on the NAN HA formula, provided that he does not develop the same rash again. If that does happen, he will need to be on an extensively modifies formula such as Similac Alimentum.
