Childhood Diseases

My little girl is 8mths old and weighs 7.60kg. Even though she drinks her bottles (175ml with Nestagel and Infacare Soya2), she has totally gone off food. The reason for the Nestagel is that without it she just throws up - she also has reflux and is on Losec too.

I just bring a spoon to her mouth and it' s WW2. My child is not putting on sufficient weight and I am really starting to get worried - is this normal ?

Her 2 1/2 yr old brother is the exact opposite - at 6 mths he was over 10kg.

Your baby's weight is below the average for her age, but not seriously low. The Nestargel she is taking often causes babies to feel full and not feed adequately. It would be a better idea if your paediatrician added Motilium to her reflux treatment so that you can stop the Nestargel.
