7month old with rash on neck from drool?

hi there,
i have another question, on friday after i fetced my 7 month old from creche i noticed that he has come out with a major rash (exzema looking) under his chin and part of neck/chest. at first i thought it was a heat rash but then my fiance said it is from his drooling (teething) and it is shafing his neck, so we put baby powder on and it seemed to have helped and cleared a bit, but today it has come out again and it looks raw. what else can i put on it and is it from being wet? i put a bib on him as well but it does not help.

Your baby has probably developed a candida rash as a result of his neck being wet all the time. Try using Nystatin cream at least three times a day on the rash on his neck. Change his bib as often as you can as a wet bib really worsens this kind of rash.
