7 week old baby not sleeping

My 7 week old baby isn't sleeping much. Sometimes he only sleeps for about 2 hours a day alll together and nightime isn't much better either. There doesn't seem to be much bothering him. When he does sleep he is very restless. Is this normal. He is on NAN 1 and only drinks about 80ml. He doesn't want more and if he does it comes out. He also went for his first shot when he was 2 weeks and the mark on his arm is huge now and it looks sore. Is it possible that it could be sore and keeping him awake?

There must be something worrying your baby as it is unacceptable that he is sleeping so little. It is unlikely that his BCG immunisation is the cause of his problem. He is not feeding at all well. It is possible that he is allergic or intolerant to milk. He should be seen by a paediatrician.

My seuntjie was presies dieselfde. Sterkte!

Hi there

Why did your lo only go for his first injection when he was 2 weeks old? The shot is usually done at birth, that is the day he is born. The next one when he is 6 weeks old.
Maybe you should take him to a paediatrician, maybe something is bothering him, and you dont know about it. Not all babies scream and cry when they're upset, mine doesnt.
