6yr old and anti perspirant

my 6 yr old daught started sweating under her arms yesterday and then promptly told me mom it smells, as i got close to her i realised she was right, it smells like an adults armpits when they been sweating and not wearing deodorant. IS this not way too early and or what does it mean? surely she is not starting puberty at age 6. She was 3.85kg at birth and then has grown into a rather tall 1.27 m and 26kg, she is not overweight but she is much bigger than the average 6 yr old esp in height.

I am puzzled as to the meaning of this and more so if it continues i will monitor, what do i use as i am NOT prepared to start her on chemically laiden underarms and have nto seen any for 6 yr old s on the market? what would be the safest natural product to use should this continue?

Is is normal, anyone else out ther with this problem?

Is this question addressed to the paediatrician? Your daughter is indeed too young to require an under arm deoderant. This kind of sweating is a sign of the early onset of puberty. As your daughter is only six years old this is called precocious puberty. She should be seen by her paediatrician just to be sure that all is well.
