3month old not interested in the bottle

Hi all

Maybe someone can help in here. Yesterday we started gving our 3 month old bottle and she refuse to take the bottle

Is it just a matter of keep on giving the bottle until she takes it or is there some other advice out there?
My wife is back at work in a weeks time and baby obviously need to be on the bottle by then

She does try to drink the milk at time but for some reason she "  pushes"  the bottle out of her moouth with a tongue when trying times she totally resists but like i said we only started today so i''''ll give it a couple of days but if any one can help with advise please do

We decided to go and leave little one at the nanny today where she will be staying when wife goes back to work on Monday.....apparently she is crying so much that the nanny can''t handle it :) She does not want to take the bottle. She has been there since 9:30am today and it is now about 2:30pm....Wife doesn''t really know what the right thing is to do so baby is giving nanny a hard time

please try the tommee tippee range. the teat is very " nipple like"  and i have not heard of one mother who struggled with them. my daughter swallowed terrible winds on nuk. best of all is their price, you can buy 3 for R129. you can also buy single bottles to try out at baby city or baby''s r us. was voted best babt bottle in the uk. o''yes, don''t let your wife feed your baby with bottle, because your baby can still smell the breastmilk, just until she gets the hang of it. best of luck.

Heidi we have 2 NUK bottles...the one with the " fat/broad"  part behind the teat ie. between the bottle and the actual teat and then we have the normal NUK with a silicone teat

I bought a snookums cup today at Game and we will try that. My wife also got a Avent which we will also try today

it will take time, but it will happen! just persevere, she will eat eventually. It''s obviously new for her, a whole new experience and she doesnt have her own logic yet to decide if its a good or bad thing. She knows what she wants and what she s used to. Just keep trying, she''ll get it. Offer it to her on every feed FIRST, dont chop and change - stay consistent! Good luck, it will change, I promise!

Craig, I had a similar problem with my boy and my mom told me to put the bottle in his mouth and keep it in there till he starts to suck. After a few attempts of me holding it in his mouth and then he cries I take it out, I got desperate and just held it. It worked! Then he did not want to know anything about breast feeding!
