2yr old daughter has vaginal discharge

My daughter is 34 months old and wieght 28kg and I noticed a white discharge from her vagina. But when I took her to a doctor he told me that little girls do have some form of discharge and ther is nothing wrong with her, since I was stressed out thinking that someone was abusing her. She also have some smell in the mornings, so you need to bath her twice a day(moring &  night), should you skip one bath eg. you bath her in the morning and skip the night time one. In the mornings she is having a smell, and I thought maybe it is because of the weight she is having. Could this be a problem?

While a slight whiteish vaginal discharge can be normal, it seems that your little daughter's discharge is very noticeable and also has quite a bad smell. It is likely that she has a candida infection. This most commonly follows on antibiotic use in girls of this age or may result from bubble baths if she does have them.Avoid bubble baths and give her Nystatin Oral Solution 1ml given 4 times a day by mouth. Also give her a probiotic such as Probiflora Children's once daily for 10 days. Then apply Nystatin Cream twice a day to her vagina. This should clear up her discharge.
