Q.

2yr old Daughter chronically ill for 4 weeks now

My baby has been ill for the past 4 weeks, the first time I took her to our GP he said it’s bronco-pneumonia and gave her antibiotics, after the medicine she still not got better, (I don't have a medical aid) I took her to our Government Hospital they said it was diarea and she must have no sugar intake it makes the viral infection worst and gave antibiotics again, on Saturday we took her to a Paediatrician she said there was nothing wrong with my daughter. Her symptoms is only at night her chest will close she starts throwing up and her fever goes up to 37.8 - 39.4 but from 8am she’s ok and the same thing starts in the afternoon. I'm getting desperate and don't have the money to take her to the doctor every week.

There are many possible cause for a story like this from a bladder or ear infection, malaria, cerebral abscess or other viral or bacterial conditions. Your daughter at this stage is classified as having a fever of unknown origin and deserves to be adequately investigated. Go back to your padiatrician and tell her what I have written here.
