2nd Week at creche - will it get better

As per my previous posts my baby (18 months) started creche about 2 weeks ago. She obviously cries when I leave her in the morning and now this week she even cries when I pick her up in the afternoon. She looks very tired when I pick her up and she' s out by 18:30/19:00 at night (which she normally never does). Will it get better and is it just something to get used to (the creche and the people etc). I' m 7 months pregnant so I' m not sure if she can feel that on as well. She' s still very small and baby like to me and my heart is so sore when she cries like that, then I think she' s not happy. But you can' t say if she' s happy after only 2 weeks in the creche. Is it just a phase or what? When I peek through the window and look at her in the afternoon she walks around and plays, but as soon as she sees me she starts to cry. Please tell me it gets better.

Your baby started creche rather late so she will definitely take time to settle in. She will have some separation anxiety at her age in particular. She will settle down with time and will learn to adapt to the creche routine.

My LG is 20 months and hads been doing the same for the last 3 weeks. The thing is she cries when she is at school aswell, not only when she has been dropped off. I am also 7 months pregnant! I have decided to take her out of creche, and will try again when she is a b it older. She doesn' t need to be there - is very happy at home and I just don' t want her to be there if she really doesn' t want to at this stage.

Good Luck x
