This is not due to tonsillitis but she has a virus infection of her mouth called' herpes stomatitis'. The sores are very painful and your little girl may not be able to eat and drink normally. Apply Teejel gel at least 3 times a day to the sores in her mouth. If she is not able to drink she must be taken to your nearest hospital out patients department as she may become dehydrated. The sores in her mouth can last for as long as 10 days.Give her Panado syrup for her fever and pain.
