Q.

20 month old eating dirt

My currently 20 month old boy has been eating dirt for some time now. I'm almost sure he has certain preverances too. It does not bother me as I think it's a phase. A friend mentioned that it might indicate a shortage in his diet. True or Flase and if true, what?

babies always eat whaever they come across whether dirty or dangerous. but you must be very careful and strict, rahter prevent that cure.
it must bother you, some dirt may contain worms and small pieces of glass which can be very harmful, the best thing is to be careful, and when you say dirt what kind of dirt and do you just let her do it because she is a child? self control must be exersized here, its your baby' s health.
