Q.

2 Year Old - Growth Spurt?

My boy turned 2 in December. He's 92.5cm long and weighs 12.9kg's. The last week he's literally doubled his daily food intake. He's a very healthy eater. He loves his veggies and salad just as much as his meat and fish. He also takes an afternoon nap from 12 - 2 and now he wants to sleep again at 4. He sleeps from 8pm at night til 7:30 in the morning. Is it a growth spurt maybe? He's very healthy and active.
Thank You for the advise

Your son is certainly very tall for his age and is well above the average, but his weight is on the average for a boy of 2 years. He seems to be quite healthy from your description here. He is sleeping rather more than usual which may be just a phase he is going through. If you are at all concerned about him ask your paediatrician to see him.
