Your baby dausghter is doing very well indeed in terms of her milestones and development. Seeing she was almost 2 months premature at birth, her progress is amazing. Most full term babies only start walking at 13 or 14 months. It won't take long before she is walking. Her teeth will come through, many babies are slow with their teething.

My babies were born at 29 weeks and turned one recently. They are doing the same things as your little one. They are only cutting teeth now.

Their sister on the other hand, was a full term baby and had a full set of teeth at their age. Don''t stress over this. She was also talking and walking before a year. My little ones are starting to talk now. They say mum, dad, baba, go, tata, car, woof woof, meow and a imitate sounds easily.

Kids are all different. My little ones only started sitting on their own at 10 mths, and they hold onto the furniture and walk. They are 14mths now. Premie babies have low muscle tone and sometimes take longer to reach those milestones like sitting, crawling and walking.

Be patient with your little one. What does she weigh now?
