Q.

16 months old and no teeth

Hi

My son is 16 months old and still has no teeth. We are starting to get a bit concerned about it as it seems even late teethers start by about 14 months old. It doesn't stop him eating (except for the skin on some fruits).

Other than this he is healthy. He is 90 cm tall and weighs about 14 kilos. He is a very happy child

Should we be concerned?

Thanks
Lee

Teething is highly variable and if he is otherwise normal I would observe this until 18-24 months. You may also ask your dentist about it.
