15 Month old will not eat anything

Good Afternoon,

My baby is 15 months old and refuses to eat anything. all he wants is milo which i give him. no matter what food it is, he won't eat. is this normal at this age and if so when should i become worried if he doesn't eat?

he loves chocolate though:) and will never refuse this at any time.

any assistance will be highly appreciated.

He should be eating a mixed diet by now.Have you tried to feed him only very finely mashed foods as many children of this age do not enjoy rough foods yet?
I will leave the rest to our regular forum members for advice.

My only advise is to be quite strict - he gets offered his food at meal times and if he refuses it then he must wait until the next meal time. Like K says he will eat if he is hungry.

My LO loves plain old bread with butter :)

Sometimes if they are ill or cutting teeth they don't feel much like eating. I have found though, (I have 2 boys) when they are hungry...they WILL eat. If all else fails, mine will always eat cooked pasta with butter and sometimes cheese melted on it. Also, plain rice works with mine. Consider this too...he may be getting full on the milk and therefore does not want food. Does he snack during the day? If so, cut some of that out. Make sure he's hungry come meal time.
