12 week not feeding well

Good day,

Please advise my daughter up until 8 weeks was feeding well 6 to 7 bottles a day recently she is only able to finish 2 at the most the whole day even so she can''t finish a whole bottle at one go. A friend suggested I change formula to Lactogen as I''m currently giving her Nan I have heard that Nan is the closest formula to breast milk &  Lactogen is used usually for sick or premature babies please shed some light on this matter &  would it be advisable to change formula at this stage. I''m worried about her not gaining weight &  not reaching millstones as a result to this.

Thank you in advance

The important point here is whether your baby's weight is correct for her age. If she is hardly taking two bottles a day now then she is certainly not taking enough formula. Lactogen1 is an excellent formula and is very valuable for hungry infants and infants who tend to be constipated. It is not only for premature infants. Try her on another formula such as NAN Pelargon. This should suit your baby. If she is not happy on this formula it would be best to take your baby to your nearest baby clinic for advice.
