11 month for Nido

Hi Doc

I was wondering if I can give my 11th son Nido? The cows mild doesn''t agree with him he''ll just have a stuffy nose if he had taken it three days consecutively. We are currently giving him soy milk the ''Isomil'' and he doesn''t like the soya. He''s Pead said children normally grow out of it later maybe one year +. He''s still on breast milk my challenge now is that my milk production is reducing and I was thinking of trying Nido for him. I want him to continue drinking milk. Will it be a good move at this stage?

It would be best for you to continue breast feeding your baby until he is 12 months. Nido is also a cow's milk product and you mention that cow's milk does not agree with him.Your baby son does not like soya, so this is a bit of a problem. You could try him on a low allergy cow's milk formula such as NAN HA2 at 12 months. If he is able to take this formula you can keep him on it to 15 months and then a cow's milk based growth formula such as Nido or NAN3 from 15 months onwards.
