Hi Doc

I have a 10 month old baby girl and lately she does not want to eat and drinks formular through the day (2*260ml) a day and breast feeds at night.

She does not want cereal, vegies anything she spits it out and I have tried different foods and types but to no help.

I also give her vitamins every morning just to make sure she is getting enough.
Please advice.

The most important thing is to ensure that your child is not ill and that she is active as always and growing normally. If all these things are in place you do not have to be too concerned if she eats badly for a period of time. Please do not offer any unhealthy alternatives. She will eat if she is truly hungry.

It is quite usual at this age.

If your child is thriving well with little solids & more milk, then so be it...no need to worry. Check with your clinic sister or paed if he is growing according to his growth curve.

and yes, NEVER FORCE FEED YOUR BABY!
