A swollen lump in the skin under the chin or in the neck could be a calcified lymph node. It could also be a benign cyst or lipoma. If it's been present for years and not getting bigger then its unlikely to be cancer. If you feel it is unsightly, your GP could remove it under local anaesthetic at the rooms (instead of in hospital). This might cost as little at R2000.
