Sore throat

Because your anaesthetist has had to work in your mouth to provide you with a safe airway, and particularly if you have had an ETT placed in your windpipe, you may have a mild sore throat that could last for a day or two. If this persists, or if your voice does not quickly return to normal you should contact your anaesthetist.
