Q.

GRINDING TEETH WHEN ASLEEP

Hi My son keeps complaining that I grind my teeth when I sleep, what could be the problem and how can I stop this, I do sometimes wake up and also realize that I have been grinding my teeth. I do not get up with saw jaws and dont feel any pain in the morning. Any advice will be appreciated.

This disorder is called bruxism and usually doesn't affect sleep quality at all. What is more important is to protect the teeth because they can be ground away quite badly. It is usually familial but will be made worse during periods of stress.
