Bromhidrosis is a condition caused by normal bacteria on your skin that metabolize your sweat. If one can decrease the sweating the bromhidrosis usually resolves. Please don't go for an operation to do this - it is very dangerous procedure and very often leads to compensatory sweating elsewhere, like your hands, face or scalp. To decrease the sweating we start with products like Mitchum, witch contains aluminium chloride -you have most likely already tried this. The next step is to use a product like Driclor, which is complicated to apply but can be very effective. If nothing works however the next step is to inject botulinum toxin into the skin in the area. This can be quite expensive but is highly effective. It goes without saying that higiene is of course critical in bromhidrosis. A dermatologist would be able to help you with this bromhidrosis problem.
