Q.

Mucus at back of throat

I have a constant and annoying sensation of mucus somewhere between throat and sinuses. I can't cough it up nor does daily saline rinsing seem to make any difference. The doctor thought it might be physiological but is not concerned. I also have sleep apnoea. Is it worth going to see a nose/throat specialist about this and could it be related to the sleep apnea problem?

Could be due to silent reflux. So see your ENT .
