Very cold nose

I've had all the blood tests needed to see if I have Thyroid problems or Anemia. I have to take Folic Acid to keep that at proper levels. It was good also. However I had surgery for a serious deviated Septum 6 years ago. My Septum is deviated again. I also forgot to mention I had Turbinate surgery done to reduce the size. The deviation was from getting hit in the face by a soft ball. Now my right nostril is visibly distorted. The terrible sensitivity to cold air be it from air-conditioning or the winter air and just the cool air in the room is seriously painful. Being in the freezer section of the grocer is the worst of it all. It truly feels as if I have put Vicks save menthol around the rims of my nostrils its disquieting. there is no visible discoloration, as someone suggested I may have Raynauds syndrome. I am cold by nature but this suddenly occurred. I've also had a heart work up and it was ok just a mild case of regurgitation. not problematic to me my heart is strong. I am 58 years old I have Celiac and been gluten free for 5 years now my diet is very wholesome. This cold menthol feeling is interfering with my life so badly and the Doctor has found no logical cause. My husband died in a accident several months ago and I'm moving forward was under a great deal of stress for sure. Can this be related to my failed Septum surgery? It just suddenly collapsed. I will be seeing ENT set up appointment. I have been wearing a surgical mask to keep my nose warm. so far I don't know what else to do. I've passed blood tests and the only thing noticeable is this failed nose surgery from 6 years ago. Can you give me some idea perhaps give me some insight as to why my nose hurts from being cold so bad? I need some kind of insight so I can feel better. Knowledge is power. thank you so much in advance. P.S. I forgot to mention my nose isn't really stuffy till I lay down at night. Actually its painfully clear on the left side that is wide open it is the right side that has collapsed.

It would be best to get advice from a doctor who has examined the nose. It’s possible that the discomfort is due to poor local blood flow in that part of your nose, but there isn’t really a solution.
