Q.

Recurring Otitis media leading to rupture of ear drum

I have for the past five years suffered from an ear infection annually ( left ear). All resulted in a ruptures eardrum despite the use of cortisone and antibiotics. Should I visit and ENT specialist?

Yes, it would be worth having a look. There is probably a weak spot there.
