Q.

Problem always starts in left sinus

Would you have any input as to why when I begin fighting a "cold" or "sinusitis" it always starts in my left sinus? It begins with mild swelling and irritation in my left sinus, then quickly turns into congestion on the left side and soon after (within a day or so) will become a full blown sinus infection and also begins affecting the right side.

It’s possible that the drainage of the sinuses on the left may be anatomically narrower. See an ENT for a scope and you may benefit from a CT scan to fully appreciate the anatomy.
