Q.

Possible nerve injury post ear procedure

Is it possible to have a shoulder/arm nerve injury after an ear procedure? I had 2 tympanomastoidectomy last year. 1st one in June and the 2nd one in October (it included a canalplasty), this was after failed 3 tympanoplasty procedure to repair recurring eardrum rupture. After the last procedure, I've been having terrible pain, coldness and tingling from my shoulder down to the hand. i feel like I'm losing the normal use of my hand as it's better when on a stretched out position. I normally go for massages to ease the shoulder pain and while being massaged I would feel a huge relieve from my ear but it will suddenly gets cold and there'll be fluid during down the throat.
