Q.

Nasal congestion and post nasal drip

HI CAN BANANAS, SWEETS, NUTS AND TOMATOES CAUSE SINISITIS? HOWEVER I HAVE BEEN EATING THESE FOODS FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND HAVE ONLY RECENTLY BEEN STRUGGLING EVEN TO BREATHE OVER THE PAST 2 YEARS AND I GET NO RELIEF. I HAVE STOPPED THE NUTS AND PEANUT BUTTER FOR 6 WEEKS BUT NO RELIEF. MY DIET OTHER THAN THE JELLY BEANS IS VERY HEALTHY WITH FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES, NO DAIRY OF WHEAT. I SAW AN ENT...TOBRADEX BUT NO JOY. I SUSTAINED A HEAD INJURY IN A CAR ACCIDENT IN 2015. COULD THIS EXPLAIN MY VERY DEBILITATING PROBLEM...BLOWING MY NOSE ONLY SERVES TO WORSEN THE PROBLEM. I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE DESPERATE. PLEASE CAN YOU HELP!

Not related to diet. Ask your ENT about using a nasal steroid spray.
