Sinusitis

Q.

Major headache, constant cough and all around eyes/nose feels like it's on fire and swollen

Ok I've had sinus infections before but this is by far the worst feeling one thus far. Usually I'm good with taking some Mucinex and Delsym and I can deal with everything else. But between the killer headache, constant cough (and it's a pretty deep chesty cough) and just overall pain and swelling in my face I feel like I just want to lay down and cry...and my pain tolerance is pretty high. I went to my doctor a couple days ago and they said just keep doing what I'm doing but when will it get better? It's been going on for over a week!

Normally a cold takes about 10 days. If you start getting a fever or severe pain after this it could indicate bacterial sinusitis.
