Sinusitis

Q.

Brain fog

I've had chronic sinusitis for a long time. I've been suffering from "brain fog" continuously since late 2001. I was recently told that my sinus cavities are completely filled in.  Basically, what should I do? The ENT said surgery won't do anything and that basically there's nothing to be done. I'd love to end this foggy saga asap. I've also had a broken nose twice and a broken orbital and a tooth knocked out in the last 4 years (I play hockey). What should I do? get a second opinion? demand surgery?

If the scan is abnormal and shows blocked sinuses then surgery is an option if medical treatment has failed. Second opinion.
