Q.

Alternated nostril blockage

I get alternated nostril blockage at nights, but one nostril at a time allows me to breath. Also I experience sore throat like symptoms? I have no runny nose or itchy eyes etc. What’s your opinion? Last April I was in Cyprus when I first realised I am getting alternated nostril blockage, but no runny nose. There was a dust cloud hoovering over the island. One day next to our home a special machine was cutting the hay and lots of hay dust was all over the area. I am not sure if this has anything to do with my complaints.

You’re describing the nasal cycle, but exaggerated by allergy or reaction to dust. Your ENT should examine the nose to exclude a deviated septum and then likely prescribe some nasal steroid spray.
