Q.

Blocked nose after swimming

Have gone back to swimming for exercise and find my nose is getting blocked more often and take a nasal spray before or after swimming which seems to work. At night when I lay down to sleep my nose gets blocked and when I sit up the congestion seems to ease am 75 years of age ;this congestion is mre regular now, what would you suggest?

Overuse of the decongestant leads to rebound congestion. Don’t use it for more than 7 days. Rather use a saline spray to rinse the nose out.
